FRIDAY

Next Swing Pit – 24th Feb!

I’m in Melbourne for work for a few days and took the opportunity to do the Level 1, 2 and 3 classes at Swing Patrol Fitzroy last night. Life’s been pretty busy so I haven’t had much of a chance to be a swing dance student lately, let alone be a level 1 student. It was great being in a class situation again, not just to learn new things but also to feel the infectious joy that those new to swing dancing bring. So, if you’ve been absent from learning for a while and feel you’re dancing is getting a little stale, pop along to a class and give yourself an injection of inspiration.

c. No MSF for 2012

The Melbourne Swing Festival will not run this year due to a number of factors and we would prefer to hold an extraordinary event rather than one that doesn't tick all our boxes. We encourage dancers to attend workshops as they arise throughout the year and consider supporting other fabulous interstate events. The festival will return kicking and swinging in 2013.
