On September 4th, prepare to go hard or go home (well maybe to a nice
cuppa tea, they're actually quite loveable) with two of Australia's
most excitable Lindy Hoppers!
Cam and Loz bring you this one day workshop to get you Swingin' out, Rockin' out and
Bustin' out all over town!
Sessions include:
* The Bare Necessities: Get in the kitchen, get your hands dirty and
cook up a Lindy Hop storm! With a focus on the fundamentals, this class
brings you the ingredients you need to STFO!
* For Dancers Only: Cam and Loz bring you some rockin’ variations to add to your
Lindy Hop bag 'o' tricks!
* Charleston is the Best Dance After All: Loz and Cam reckon Charleston is da bomb
so in this class they’re going to bust some of their favourite stuff with you to challenge
your Charleston chops!
* Now You Has Jazz: In this class they bring you the best of both worlds as they show
you how jazz steps IN your Lindy Hop can unlock a WORLD of improvisation and make
for enthralling conversation!

BAL EXCHANGE SOCIAL NIGHT - TONIGHT!
Since the last Bal Exchange social night was so successful... we have decided to do it again!
Whilst the night is an opportunity for everyone to get some solid Bal
practice in (with BOTR just a month away) there will also be the
opportunity to get your lindy groove on as the DJs are catering to
everyone! DJs this month are Jase Selva and Trish Carruthers.... and
the night promises to showcase music you can dance to!**
The Exchange is a massive hotel, but you will find us upstairs in the boardroom.
Social dancing starts at 8:15pm –11pm
Cost - $6 entry

Balmain Swinging Sundays
Learn some smooth moves from the masters – Alice and Tom from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Then stick around for an awesome night of social dancing, grooving to
the tunes of our DJs – Adam and Ben.

Wow,
what a seriously jammed packed week we have coming up. With social
dancing at the exchange tonight, UHJB playing on Friday, and a bit of
Saturday night fever with the Gangster’s Ball and the Roxbury on
Saturday followed by the Brad Child Orchestra and the Balmain Swinging
Sundays. That’s at least 16 hours of music to get your dance on to, so
there’s no reason not to STFO over the next week!

If you miss out on the Gangster’s Ball, Roxbury will still be on this
Saturday, so there’s no excuse not to dance this Saturday night.
