The Swing Pit - 2nd and 4th Friday of the Month
Swing Pit occurs on the 2nd and 4th each Friday; a beginner focused night for those who feel they need a bit more confidence in social dancing. All dancers from Beginners to Advanced are most welcome at both events! Swing Pit Live is a great venuture where we bring live bands to social dancing at the Swing Pit. Check it out.   |
A little secret hip dance floor in the heart of Newtown. A great mix of music, DJs and dancers. The class before the social night is anchored by different teachers and it is a great way to break the ice and meet some dancers before the evening really gets under way! If you are a new dancer, go and enjoy watching some of Sydney's finest swing dancers in action. The Swing Pit has had many international and interstate guests who rave about the vibe and is known as the swing event not to be missed! Each Swing Pit on the and of the month will be beginner focused with classes fun and simple to get those starting off in swing a chance to learn some moves to practice throughout the evening. |
