Level 1 (7pm)

Samantha Szetu will be joining me as the follow teacher in 2012. Put Tue 31 Jan 2012 in your diary!. Come join the party! Requirements to join Level 1 No experience needed! You do not need to sign up for a block of classes. We encourage you to come on a regular basis to improve but you can drop in whenever it suits you as each class covers the basics before we cover new aspects/moves each week.

Level 2 (8:10pm)

Samantha Szetu will be joining me as the follow teacher in 2012. Put Tue 31 Jan 2012 in your diary!. Come join the party! Are you ready for Level 2? If you know some basic 8 beat (Lindy Hop), 6 beat and Side-by-side Charleston, then feel free to join a Level 2 class. We encourage people moving up to Level 2 to continue doing Level 1 to become more comfortable with the basic patterns. Speak to Chris or Sass if you're not sure.

 

On Tue 13 Dec we learnt the following in Level 1 and Level 2:

Level 1 - 6 beat with pump lands

6 beat basic Stop turn Arm of welcome Inside turn to closed Ba Dah!

Level 2 - 8 beat

3 swing-out variations Texas Tommy Footwork variation 1: step, step, step on 5-7, cross on 8, chug on 1, step on 2 Footwork variation 2: kick-land on 7-8, kick-ball-change on 1-2
