Level 1: Let’s learn Lindy Hop |

- Basic footwork o Rock step, triple step, step, step, triple step - Swing out from open position o Leads, pull follow in on count 2 o Follows, make sure you stay square to your partner’s shoulders o Rotate around on counts 4 & 5 o Leads, let go of Follow on count 5 to complete the swing out - Inside turn o Same as swing out until count 4 o Leads, look at your watch & pull the Follow under you arm o Follow, don’t stand unwinding until 7 & 8 - Koala dip o Rock step with double hand hold o Lead, pull Follow into position on count 3 o Make sure you are both holding each other firmly o Follows, bend at the knees and keep your back straight |
