History of Charleston

Welcome back to Castle Hill Swing Patrol classes!!!
Classes started back this week and we stepped into the history of Charleston in level one and followed on with the history of Lindy Hop in level 2.
Level 1: Starting with the basic Charleston, we turned this into partner Charleston and then added in Tacky Annies. For a bit more pazzazz we turned our Charleston and learnt the lead for the Tacky Annies. Next we added in Hand to Hand Charleston with 6 kicks and ended back in Charleston.
Level 2: We took the basic rhythm quick quick slow and applied it to 2 dances. Breakaway Charleston and Balboa.
We will revise this again for those that missed our first class back and for those in class needing to revise the material.
