In this class we wanted to cover the 4 most valuable technical rules that can be practically applied to improve your dancing. The Class The theme of this class is 'The Big Three' teaching the three most socially let lindy variation to add to you growing social dance skills. The Out Side Turn Notes: The follower turns away from the lead on count 5 turing through 6&7 Tip: Leads although the Left hand indicates the lead is throuh the right hand. The Inside Turn Notes: We see this on lead poorly a lot. Lead set up streatch on 4 w opposite hip than usual. This will allow you to remove R arm quick. Tip: Twist on 4& and step 5 in Open. Don't choke the follow. The Texas Tommy Notes: It has many names 'Apachie', 'Arm breaker' A cool move where the follow rolls out from 4 and an unusual way to chanhe hands. Tip: Thumb down, using long way to enter like we showed in class, Leads use the 'C' grip .. Yeah! |
