For the next few Swing Pits we are going to give you the chance to learn from the diverse and talented Sydney teaching team, This is a great opportunity to learn from teachers you may not have learnt from before. See below for who is teacing next.
Swing Pit has become an internationally renowned social night with folks from all around the world stepping in to enjoy the cool and cruisy atmosphere. There has even been a social night in London named after it! So keep an eye on the dates for the next Swing Pit night and come along for a social dance and de-stress with your swing mates from around the traps.
Just $14 for the lesson, social dance is included, or $6 for the social dance only.
Next Swing Pits
12th February - Valentine's Day theme. The perfect night to dance and romance with that special someone, whether you come together or meet at the Swing Pit is up to you. Even the class is going to be based on the closer dance styles of swing, Balboa and Blues. Your teachers for this evening will be Max and Julie.
26th February - Your teachers this evening are the dynamic duo from our CBD venue, Brock and Jase.
12th March - This week the teachers from North Sydney, Adam and Julie will be keeping you entertained.
26th March - Easter theme. Jake and Sass are back on board.
With Swing Pit now once a fortnight, you have more opportunity to soothe those dancng desires. Each Swing Pit on the 2nd Friday of the month will be beginner focused with classes fun and simple to get those starting off in swing a chance to learn some moves to practice throughout the evening. Even the music throughout the social night will be aimed at those who are just starting out in their dancing lives. Easy beats and well known songs will be spun out by our passionate Dj's. Of course all dancers, beginner, intermediate and experienced, are welcome!
As we are all in some stage of learning, these Swing Pits are a great opportunity to practice your dancing without feeling you have to know how to dance.
Swing Pits are a great night to introduce your friends to the swing scene and meet other dancers from classes around Sydney that might be in their classes.
On the 4th Friday of the month, the class and social dancing will cater to the general swing crowd. We will have themed nights, and totally awesome tracks pumped out by our wonderful DJ's!
